Jebsen Industrial supports six principals in the processing and packaging industry at the world’s largest trade fair

Jebsen Industrial, along with leading principals Cama Group, Sollas , Olsa, PFM, Benco Pack and GUK , will join some 2,700 other exhibitors from 60 countries at Interpack 2014. The global trade fair for processes and packaging is scheduled to take place from May 8-14 in Düsseldorf, Germany this year, bringing together the industry’s latest ideas, innovative concepts and technological breakthroughs.

Cama Group, the Italian brand renowned for its high-technology secondary packaging systems, has announced that it will reveal its new concept of machines: the Break-Through Generation at Interpack 2014. There, tradeshow visitors will be among the first in the world to witness Cama ’s new side loading packaging systems, which offer maximum flexibility. In the robotics sector, the brand is also preparing to introduce a state-of-the-art loading unit that features 12 Delta type robots working in tandem to create a highly sophisticated Co-Flow system. Finally, Cama will also release a high-speed Star-Wheel system developed in collaboration with SPS (PFM Group) – an advanced feeding system that is expected to revolutionise high-speed turnkey solutions. In addition to these Break-Through Generation machines, Cama will also bring its worldwide bestseller, the wrap-around case packer to the show.

Sollas , which has over 65 years of experience in overwrapping and banding solutions, has never ceased to continue developing new technologies to drive the industry forward. At Interpack 2014, it will introduce two new models of overwrappers, the SE40 and SX50, as well as new innovations on existing machines like the fully servo driven FSX. The SE40 is a new entry-level automatic overwrapper built on proven Sollas technology and designed as a competitively priced machine that delivers the packaging quality and machine reliability that Sollas is well-reputed for. The SX50, on the other hand, is a direct replacement for the Sollas 20, which was in production for over 15 years. Based on a modular build and the popular SX series, the SX50 offers the availability of a direct in-line infeed and individual product transport in the outfeed.

Olsa, the ISO-certified supplier of equipment for the global chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, will also be present at Interpack 2014. The Italian-based company has over six decades of experience in improving manufacturing efficiency and increasing capacity with liquid, semi-solid and solid processing equipment and plant systems. Its participation at Interpack 2014 is headlined by its Maxilab 5, which is a laboratory mixer optimised for the production and improvement of cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food products. Like all its solutions, the Maxilab 5 was created by blending Olsa’s old world craftsmanship, robust performance, new age technology and after-sales service.

PFM is an industrial group consisting of 12 companies specialised in the flexible packaging sectors: from the handling of incoming products from process lines, to dosage and weighing, through to horizontal and vertical packaging. It designs and manufactures machines, complete lines, multi-head weighing machines and dosage systems dedicated to the packaging of foodstuff, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. It is expected to showcase a suite of such solutions at Interpack 2014, specifically aimed at helping companies around the world achieve greater performance through innovative technology.

Benco Pack , which is part of Italy’s SACMI Group, has over 25 years of experience in the manufacture of packaging machinery for food and convenience products, particularly for dairy foods. It is perhaps best known around the world for its Horizontal Form-Fill-Seal machines, which produce mini-portion packs of pumpable products in an aseptic environment. The single machine embraces the entire packaging process from forming the cup or container through to sterilisation, filling, lidding, sealing, applying opening methods, labelling, and packing.

GUK is a specialist in precision engineering and, since 1948, has been applying its expertise in components and assemblies for automakers as well as high-capacity paper folding machines for the pharmaceutical, packaging and printing industries, among others. Having established a stellar reputation for high quality and technologically advanced solutions, the German company has sold over 40,000 folding machines to discerning customers worldwide. Through constant innovation, the brand seeks to deliver excellence with solutions that perfectly match the evolving needs of global industry players.
