Jebsen Industrial (China) and Stratasys, a global leader in 3D printing technology, engaged CNC professionals in a technical exchange seminar entitled “3D Printing in the CNC Machine Tool Industry” during the recently concluded 16th China International Machine Tool Exhibition. The one-hour learning session, held April 15 at the China International Exhibition Centre, drew nearly 30 participants, most of them representing the automotive and parts manufacturing industries.

Mr. Bobi Xuan, Head of Automotive of Stratasys China, presented at the seminar. His well-received presentation focused on the application of 3D printing solutions in the manufacture of CNC machine tools, including practical business insights and industry feedback on the use of the new technology.

Seminar attendees had the opportunity to see the potential benefits of using the 3D printing in their respective fields through case studies shared by Mr. Xuan.

Topics drawing considerable interest among the participants included the advantages of using 3D printing technology in additive manufacturing; the differences in 3D printing technologies such as FDM and PolyJet printers, as well as in other printing and manufacturing materials; and ROI discussion and comparison of Stratasys technologies with traditional CNC manufacturing.

The technical seminar reflects Stratasys’ long-established expertise and reputation in additive manufacturing. For over 30 years, its products have helped companies achieve better business performance by promoting valuable cost and time savings with its 3D printing and additive solutions, and services.

Jebsen Industrial will continue to connect Stratasys’ products to more manufacturers, engineers, and innovators in Greater China.
