The 13th China (Shanghai) International Power and Generating Sets Exhibition, also known as Power China 2014, drew an impressive trade audience to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from April 8-10. With many industry players keen to tap on cleaner, more efficient power sources, John Deere ’s engine solutions presented by Jebsen Industrial received significant interest.

Some 800 visitors spent time at the Jebsen Industrial booth for a better understanding of John Deere ’s market-leading technology and how the brand has been working on lowering engine emissions for close to 50 years, long before government standards were set. Even the booth’s classic white background, accentuated by Jebsen Industrial’s corporate blue and John Deere ’s corporate yellow, projected the clean and healthy image that their presence represented.

To demonstrate John Deere ’s expertise in the field, the partners brought the 6068 Series of engines to the event – the 6068HF258 at the booth and the 6068HFG55 diesel engine at Chinese leading Gen-set technology seminar presentation on the afternoon of April 8.

Both models belong to the John Deere PowerTech 6.8L series which delivers outstanding performance in the six-cylinder class, providing the reliable, quiet and fuel-efficient power that the industry demands. At the Jebsen Industrial booth, Power China 2014 visitors had the chance to get acquainted with the 6068HF258 model, featuring an engine power of 183kW and rated speeds of 1,500rpm. Equipped with an electronically controlled fuel system, the 6.8L engines follow the John Deere strategy of utilising electronics to meet the strictest EPA Final Tier4 emission regulations while providing optimal performance, minimal engineering redesign cost and maximum customer value.
